Swing for A Cause: Join Marriott International Bali Charity Golf Day 2024

Building on last year’s resounding success, Marriott Business Council Bali gears up for another annual Marriott International Bali Charity Golf Day on 15 June 2024 at Bali National Golf Club. The event will take place in Nusa Dua and is held to support two causes in collaboration with Bali Children Foundation and Sungai Watch, long-time partners of the council.

Marriott International’s special charity event underlines the luxury hospitality brand’s long-standing commitment to driving positive change in the surrounding community. Aligned with both the brand’s 2025 Sustainability and Social Impact Goals and the UN Sustainable Development Goals, this initiative tackles pressing challenges.

“We are thrilled to host the annual Marriott International Bali Charity Golf Day once again,” enthuses Christopher Smith, general manager of Courtyard Bali Seminyak Resort and Chairman of Marriott International Bali Charity Golf Day 2024. “This event serves not only to unite participants in a spirit of community but also provides crucial support for our ongoing efforts for the future of Bali.”

A total of 29 hotels and resorts across Bali, Lombok, and Labuan Bajo are eagerly set to participate in this year’s charity event. With this throng of expected participants, the council is confident of reaching its fundraising goal of Rp1,000,000,000. All proceeds will be donated to the two chosen charities to support their vital work and missions.

The event charity event will host the “Beat the Pro” tournament featuring LPGA professionals from Thailand: Pro Nam (Tichalada Nithitirasakun) and Pro Air (Saruttaya Ngam-Usawan). Registered golfers will be presented with an exclusive golf shirt to gear up for the golfing adventure. Food and drinks will be available during the event, provided by Marriott’s portfolio hotels in Bali as refreshments. Expect a smorgasbord of entertainment, competition, and a prize pool exceeding Rp1,000,000,000. The day will culminate in an awards dinner featuring live and online auctions.

Registration for the Marriott International Bali Charity Golf Day is open until 10 June 2024, priced at Rp1,400,000/person for Bali National Golf Club Members and Rp2,300,000/person for non-members. Golfers and non-golfers are welcome to join the Gala Night at The Westin Resort Nusa Dua, Bali, on the same evening, starting at 7pm. International buffet dinners, drinks, door prizes, auctions, and live music are available for Rp750,000/person at the event.
