Preparing a traditional turkey from scratch is a time-consuming affair; between stuffing the turkey and preparing the side dishes, you may not have time to make dessert. The former features moist sponge covered in a decadent dark chocolate cream and a hearty hazelnut praline crémeux, while the latter sees fluffy, moist bread enveloping hazelnut ganache and brandied cherries. Making its debut is the re-imagining of a Chocolate Log Cake ($63) – pineapple and mango is layered within chocolate, and topped with piquant pink peppercorn. For a guilt-free treat, the Black Forest Log Cake ($68) is now alcohol-free and boasts 30 percent less sugar.
