, Yayoi Kusama-inspired Afternoon Tea at The Fullerton Hotel Singapore

You’ve checked out the marvellous installations of Yayoi Kusama at National Gallery Singapore and are feeling so inspired. While you can’t bring her colourful masterpieces home, you can do the next best thing: swing by The Fullerton Hotel Singapore’s The Courtyard for a taste of Kusama’s works. Helmed by executive pastry chef, Enrico Pezzelato, the afternoon tea menu features five specially designed desserts that are a reflection of her creations. Think lychee mousse and kueh lapis speckled with dots, a la Gleaming Lights of the Souls.  Life is the Heart of a Rainbow has been translated into a light strawberry shortcake topped with whipped cream and tucked in between cocoa butter printed with bold lines. Also enjoy savoury nibbles from the hotel such as smoked salmon mille feuille with Avruga caviar, as well as curry egg sandwich on brioche roll. Available till 10 July. $43/person. Level 1, The Fullerton Hotel Singapore, 1 Fullerton Square. Tel: 6877 8129.
