The mother and son duo who drew snaking queues at their Heavens stall in Ghim Moh for their famous putu mayam, royal thosai and appam will be reprising these same signatures at The Fullerton Hotel Singapore from 9 to 19 July.

Lakshmi and Daniel Surendan will take over Town Restaurant’s dinner buffet and turn out putu mayam rice flour noodles that are steamed upon order. Crispy-edged appams and egg, potato, cheese and onion-stuffed fermented rice crepes will also be served à la minute.

Tuck into delicious pools of accompanying gravies like kambing kicap manis (lamb cooked in dark soy sauce and chilli padi), udang buah keras (candlenut prawns), daging masak itam (squid ink braised beef) and flower crab assam rasam (tangy and spicy flower crab soup). $55 from Sunday to Tuesday. $89 from Wednesday to Saturday with barbecued delights, 2 hours free flow Tiger Beer and Singapore Sling. 1 Fullerton Square.
