A slice of Susur Lee
When celebrity chef Susur Lee is in town, he goes as quickly as he comes, often leaving guests wanting more of his exquisitely composed dishes.
His latest stint at Tung Lok Heen was equally fleeting. Recently here on 22 April to present a memorable one-night-only dinner as part of the 50th anniversary of Canada-Singapore Diplomatic Relations, he has selected five dishes to be made available for the enjoyment of the public till 31 May. Try the Digby Scallops with Soya Jelly of Rhubarb & Japanese Ginger, Salt and White Pepper Pei Lobster with Saffron and Sesame Ink, and the exotic-sounding Signature French & Chinese Tong Yuen with Indian Pastry, Raspberry and Passion Fruit Rose Water.
