Bali Charity Golf Day Returns with Marriott’s Play with Purpose

Marriott Business Council Bali is bringing back the Marriott International Bali Charity Golf Day 2026 on Saturday, 4 July 2026, framing the day around sport, community support, and practical fundraising. The programme combines a tournament at New Kuta Golf with an evening gala at Renaissance Bali Uluwatu Resort & Spa, drawing participation from more than 30 Marriott Bonvoy hotels and resorts across Bali, Lombok, and Labuan Bajo.

This year’s theme, Play with Purpose, aligns the event with Marriott International’s Serve 360 commitment, with the organisers aiming to raise IDR 1 billion for community programmes that support underprivileged children. Proceeds will again go to the Bali Children Foundation, continuing a partnership focused on education access and opportunity-building for young people across Bali and surrounding regions.

The Marriott Bali charity golf runs in a Stroke Play format for both men and women, using multi-divisions and a System 36 handicap, with a shotgun tee-off at 12.30pm. Beyond the course, the event widens participation through fundraising initiatives, including live and online auctions designed to reach supporters who may not be present on the day.

The evening shifts to the Uluwatu Ballroom at Renaissance Bali Uluwatu Resort & Spa from 6pm, with a gala that blends awards with entertainment, lucky draws, and bidding moments tied to the wider fundraising goal.

An online auction will also run 20 June to 31 July 2026, featuring stays across Marriott International properties in the Asia Pacific region. It’s positioned as a simple way for travellers and supporters outside Bali to contribute, while keeping the focus on outcomes: more resources for the foundation’s work in education and youth development.

With sport as the entry point and education as the end goal, the charity day reads as a reminder that hospitality groups can mobilise beyond their own lobbies – using reach, partnerships, and shared calendars to fund programmes that matter.
