iNi ViE Hospitality is adding a new address to Canggu with the upcoming opening of La Mewali Resort & Spa Canggu, set to welcome its first guests in June 2026. Built around an eco-wellness concept, the resort takes its cues from the element of water, using curved forms, tactile materials, and a layered lagoon pool system to shape how guests move through the property.

The name explains the intent: mewali, drawn from the Balinese word for return, points to a reset – back to balance and a steadier pace. While positioned close to Canggu’s beaches and dining scene, the resort aims to keep a sense of privacy through its layout and soft-edged architecture. Terracotta, stone, wood, and bamboo appear throughout, reinforcing a theme of natural texture rather than glossy finish.
Accommodation is structured around the lagoon system. The One Bedroom Pool Villa with Lagoon Access offers a cave-like interior, a private plunge pool, direct lagoon access, a hammock, and an in-room projector. In the main building, the Suite Lagoon and Grand Suite Lagoon also connect directly to the lagoon pool, paired with outdoor bathtubs and relaxed, open-plan layouts. For guests who prefer higher vantage points, Suite Pool View and Grand Suite Pool View overlook the main pool area, with private balcony bathtubs designed for open-air bathing.

Food and drink are organised through two concepts: Wisteria Brunch for daytime breakfast and brunch, and Puri Pure, an evening-only venue built around modern Indonesian cooking. Wellness sits at Svaha Spa, where Nekara-inspired sound healing is positioned as a signature treatment focus. The resort also notes dedicated yoga and Pilates areas, a fitness centre, a cave lounge for quiet downtime, and a sunken swim-up bar set into the lagoon network.
