FHTB 2026 Bali Hospitality

Food, Hotel & Tourism Bali (FHTB) 2026 Returns to Drive Innovation in Hospitality Industry

This April, Food, Hotel & Tourism Bali (FHTB) 2026 returns for its 14th edition – an event that has quietly, yet consistently, shaped the trajectory of Indonesia’s hospitality and F&B sectors.

Taking place from 28 to 30 April 2026 at the Bali Nusa Dua Convention Center, the exhibition arrives at a time when the region’s growth feels not only inevitable but accelerated. Over three days, the space transforms into a convergence point for global suppliers, HoReCa businesses, distributors, and decision-makers – each navigating an industry that is evolving as rapidly as the travellers it serves.

What sets FHTB apart is its duality: it is both marketplace and mirror. On one hand, more than 200 companies from 14 countries – including France, Italy, Singapore, and Thailand – present an expansive showcase of products, from specialty ingredients and coffee to hospitality technology and sustainable packaging. On the other, the exhibition reflects a broader shift in how hospitality is being redefined, particularly in destinations like Bali, where tourism is as much about experience as it is about responsibility.

The numbers underline this momentum. Indonesia’s F&B sector is projected to grow steadily through 2030, while the country’s share of the global online travel booking market is expected to reach USD 22 billion by 2026. Meanwhile, Bali itself welcomed approximately 5.25 million international visitors in 2025 – accounting for nearly half of the nation’s total arrivals. But beyond statistics, it is the nuance of growth that defines this year’s edition.

Wellness tourism, for instance, continues to emerge as a defining narrative. No longer confined to spas and retreats, it now intersects with food sourcing, sustainability, and design – threads that are woven throughout FHTB 2026’s programming. Workshops and seminars explore everything from environmentally conscious food management to energy-efficient hospitality systems, signalling a future where luxury and responsibility are no longer opposing ideas, but complementary ones.

Culinary expression remains at the forefront, most notably through the 13th Salon Culinaire Bali, spearheaded by Bali Culinary Professionals. This year’s competition revives the Dewata Gastronomy Challenge after an eight-year hiatus, inviting teams that integrate chefs, sommeliers, and service professionals into a singular performance of precision and creativity. It is less a competition, more a stage – one where emerging talent meets the expectations of a global audience.

Equally compelling is the spotlight on inclusivity within the industry. The Barista Female Creation competition, organised alongside Last.Brew, celebrates the growing presence of women in coffee – a sector that continues to expand both culturally and commercially. With no age restrictions, the initiative feels intentional in its message: that expertise and passion transcend demographics.

Yet, if there is a single thread that runs consistently through FHTB 2026, it is sustainability. From organic produce and waste reduction systems to energy-conscious technologies, the exhibition positions itself not just as a showcase, but as a catalyst. At a time when 83% of global travellers consider sustainable travel essential, the industry is no longer asking if it should evolve, but how quickly it can.

Organised by PT Pamerindo Indonesia, FHTB continues to function as more than a trade show. It is, in essence, a meeting point of ambition—where local businesses find global pathways, and where innovation is not simply displayed, but actively negotiated.

In a landscape defined by change, FHTB 2026 offers something increasingly rare: clarity, in where hospitality is heading, who it serves, and how it can grow without losing its sense of place.
