SG Farmers’ Market
Hosted by myVillage @ Serangoon Garden and co-organised by the Agri-Food & Veterinary Authority of Singapore and Singapore Agro-Food Enterprises Federation, SG Farners’ Market is back for the second year. Taking place on 22 and 23 September, shoppers can expect some of best locally-grown produce, including fruits, veggies, fish and brown rice, from 20 local farms. Apart from more familiar names like Sustenir Agriculture (strawberries and kale) and Kühlbarra (barramundi), there are other interesting products that will make it a worthwhile trip.

Allegro Aqua will offer Temasek Organic Fragrant Brown Rice Shop, which is said to contain higher dietary fibre and is softer in texture, as well as the omega-3 enriched St John’s sea bass. Shop for the first pesticide-free Brazilian spinach from Nippon Koi Farm. The Fish Farmer’s will introduce a new species of Taiwanese sea perch alongside its existing range of seabass, pomfret and red snapper.

While you’re there, join Marc Wee, founder and chef of popular café, Arbite, and chef Jimmy Chok for live cooking demos using the local produce.

The SG Farmers’ Market will open from 9am to 2pm on both days.
