Sana Sini Destination Dining

Pullman Jakarta Launches Sana Sini Destination Dining

Buffets have long been associated with abundance, but Pullman Jakarta Indonesia is taking a different approach. At Sana Sini Restaurant, the hotel introduces Destination Dining, a new dinner concept that replaces the traditional buffet mindset with a more personalised journey across five distinct culinary worlds. Rather than encouraging guests to fill a plate in one go, the experience is designed around choice, allowing diners to linger in one cuisine, explore them all, or simply order individual dishes à la carte.

Sana Sini Destination Dining

Prepared à la minute in live kitchens, each dish is cooked to order, bringing the immediacy and interaction of standalone restaurants into a single dining destination. The format shifts the focus away from quantity and towards craftsmanship, while still offering the variety that has made Sana Sini one of Jakarta’s best-known dining venues.

The experience begins at Rempah Raya, where Indonesia’s culinary diversity takes centre stage. Regional recipes, aromatic spices, and familiar comfort dishes celebrate the richness of the archipelago, creating a section that feels rooted in local tradition. Adding another layer is a limited-time collaboration with The People’s Café by ISMAYA Group, available from 18 August to 18 September 2026. As part of the partnership, three of the restaurant’s signature dishes – Nasi Bejek Sei Sapi, Nasi Bejek Iga Bakar, and Nasi Sate Kelapa – join the Rempah Raya selection, offering a contemporary interpretation of Indonesian comfort food.

Beyond Indonesia, Destination Dining branches into four additional culinary worlds. Ember & Vine centres on premium meats and fresh seafood prepared over live fire, highlighting smoky flavours and elemental cooking techniques. Nami & Nori focuses on Japanese cuisine, with sushi, sashimi, robatayaki, and tempura prepared to order. At Imperial Steam, handcrafted dim sum, roasted specialities, soups, wok-fried dishes, and Chinese classics take the spotlight, while The Sugar Lab rounds out the evening with artisanal gelato, pastries, cakes, and seasonal desserts.

What makes Destination Dining different is not simply the breadth of cuisines, but the flexibility it offers. Guests can build the evening around one favourite style of cooking, move freely between all five concepts, or return for specific dishes on future visits. The result feels closer to exploring a collection of individual restaurants than navigating a conventional buffet.

Set in the heart of Thamrin, Sana Sini has long been recognised for its international dining offering. With Destination Dining, Pullman Jakarta Indonesia reimagines that identity through a format that is more interactive, more deliberate, and ultimately more personal. It is an approach that recognises that dinner is rarely just about eating – it is about choosing the experience that best suits the mood of the evening.
