Telok Ayer’s mod-dining enclave has welcomed another new entrant and it’s no ordinary restaurant. Restaurant Gaig is Carles Gaig’s first international outpost (his restaurant in Barcelona is one Michelin-starred Taberna d’en Gaig). The latest Singapore addition is managed by his daughter Nuria Gibert, the fifth generation in the family’s long lineage of chefs and restaurateurs, while Gaig plans to shuttle between both cities to helm special dinners and events.
