After weeks of dining restrictions, 1-Group sets the mood right with the fifth edition of their successful wine and food festival, Wine Lust.  The festivities include 300 wines across nine venues, spread across an entire month.

“We are proud to bring the most important wine festival of the year in a time like this”, says 1-Group’s Director of Dining Development Massimo Aquaro. “Wine Lust is in a class of its own when it comes to hospitality. We have been working hard across borders with all our wine partners to showcase the best of international food and wine at our iconic and heritage destinations.”

Wine Lust runs from 19 August to 18 September 2021 across the group’s various venues and explores a wide range of cuisines from Argentinian Asado to contemporary Australian, modern Chinese, progressive Nikkei and elegant Italian. In addition to wine-pairing dinners, the event calendar appeals to a wide range of gastronomes – there are sundown picnics, rooftop happy hour, masterclasses, and wine retail pop-ups, all spread across the red dot.

On the pour are wines from Omina Romana, Amelia Park, Familia Torres, Sangre de Torro, Chateau la Rose Bellevue, Chateau du Retout, Kressmann, Frankland Estate, Louis Latour and many more.

Some highlights include Rioja Wine Harvest Masterclass by Cellarmaster, Nights of the falling stars at modern Italian restaurant Monti, The art of sake and Nikkei cuisine pairing at Peruvian and Japanese fusion restaurant FLNT and a prosecco brunch at Monti.
