At Hyatt Regency Bali, two refreshed dining experiences invite guests to stretch dinner into an occasion: the new Italian Kitchen Party at Pizzaria brings the atmosphere of an Italian evening market to the resort’s gardens, while the Summer Beach BBQ returns to the beachfront with live-fire cooking, Indonesian flavours and the sound of the sea.

Saturday nights, Italian style
Every Saturday evening, Pizzaria transforms into a convivial Italian-inspired market, complete with warm lighting, market-style setups and chefs cooking throughout the garden. Rather than a dinner that keeps guests firmly at the table, the Italian Kitchen Party encourages a little movement: wander between stations, watch dishes being prepared, or settle in and let the action unfold around you.
One of the evening’s signatures is the Live Risotto Show Cooking, where chefs prepare risotto fresh from the pan before a signature bell announces that it is ready to serve. Freshly prepared cakes also make their way around the garden, adding an element of warmth and spontaneity to the experience.

Drinks receive their own theatrical treatment. During the Beverage Journey, a bartender trolley travels between tables, with selected cocktails prepared in front of guests. Later, the Bartender Flair Show brings a more dramatic flourish, with a fire-filled performance that turns cocktail service into entertainment.
The concept also makes room for families, with a dedicated Kids Corner featuring interactive games and chef hats for younger guests while parents enjoy dinner and drinks.
The Italian Kitchen Party takes place every Saturday from 6.30pm to 9.30pm at Pizzaria, Hyatt Regency Bali, bringing food, cocktails and entertainment together for a distinctly more social take on the weekend dinner.
A beach BBQ with an Indonesian accent
Down by the shoreline, Hyatt Regency Bali has also refreshed its Summer Beach BBQ, creating a more elevated take on the classic seaside grill. Set against Sanur Beach, the experience combines live-fire cooking, island-inspired flavours, enhanced menus, signature BBQ fire pits and a new lineup of live entertainment.

The culinary offering changes with the evening. Sundays and Mondays are dedicated to Nusantara BBQ, celebrating Indonesia’s culinary heritage through dishes inspired by the archipelago and its traditional spices. On Wednesdays and Fridays, Island Fire & Surf BBQ turns the focus towards land and sea, with premium seafood grilled over open flames alongside bold flavours.
There is a pleasing sense of theatre to the experience, too. Live cooking stations bring the grill closer to the table, while dance and performance, glowing fire pits and the sound of waves provide the backdrop. Designed for couples, families and groups of friends alike, the Beach BBQ is ultimately about slowing down and enjoying dinner at the pace of the coast.
Beach BBQ Nights are available every Sunday, Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 6.30pm to 10pm at Hyatt Regency Bali.
Two experiences, one Sanur state of mind

While their culinary identities are worlds apart, the two experiences share an underlying philosophy: dinner is no longer simply about what arrives on the plate. At Pizzaria, the pleasure comes from watching risotto being made, cocktails arriving on a trolley and bartenders turning service into spectacle. By the beach, it is the glow of the fire, the rhythm of live entertainment and the changing flavours of the Indonesian archipelago.
Together, they offer two distinctly different ways to experience an evening at Hyatt Regency Bali – from an Italian-inspired garden party on Saturday to a barefoot barbecue by the sea several nights a week. And with the resort’s lush tropical gardens and beachfront setting providing the stage, Sanur has two more reasons to make dinner last a little longer.
