This is the idea behind A Portrait of Human Art, a photography exhibition by Indonesian photographer Darwis Triadi, opening this September at Sudakara ArtSpace, Sudamala Resort Sanur.
Running from 3 September to 3 October 2026, the exhibition brings together Triadi’s interpretation of the human form, exploring individuality, emotion, and the beauty found in each subject. The opening takes place on 3 September from 3pm, with the photography exhibition open to the public throughout its month-long run.
Known for a career spanning decades, Triadi has built his practice around the art of seeing his subjects with greater depth. For those looking to understand that process beyond the finished photograph, the exhibition is followed by a Photography Workshop on 4 September from 3pm onwards at Sudakara ArtSpace. The session welcomes photography enthusiasts, aspiring photographers, and creative professionals, offering an opportunity to explore visual storytelling, artistic direction, and the creative process behind his work.
The initiative also reflects Sudakara ArtSpace’s wider role within the resort. “Art is not only something to be admired, but it is also something that can inspire, connect, and encourage people to see the world differently,” says I Wayan Suwastana, commercial director of Sudamala Resorts. “We are honoured to welcome Darwis Triadi to Sudakara ArtSpace and to share his vision with our community.”
