The island’s culinary traditions take centre stage once again as Padma Resort Legian introduces its new Bali Heritage Afternoon Tea, a destination-inspired experience that reimagines the classic ritual through the flavours, stories, and produce of Bali. Launched in June 2026, the offering is available daily with a minimum one-day advance reservation, price starts at IDR 635,000 for two guests.

Rather than following conventional afternoon tea traditions, the resort presents a culinary journey across Bali. Each of the ten handcrafted sweet and savoury creations is arranged on a bespoke serving tray shaped like Bali, transforming the experience into both a visual and gastronomic exploration of the destination’s diverse regions and cultural heritage.
Among the sweet selections, the Bedugul Strawberry Delight pays tribute to the cool highlands renowned for their exceptional berries, while the Piña Colada Mille-Feuille layers crisp pastry with local pineapple cream, celebrating the abundance of Bali’s tropical harvests.

The afternoon tea also comes with savoury offerings, drawing inspiration from the celebrated base spice traditions widely known and used in Bali. Denpasar Snapper Satay combines fresh snapper, lemongrass, and vibrant sambal matah in a nod to the coastal flavours of nearby Sanur. Meanwhile, the Gianyar Chicken Quiche reinterprets a traditional preparation through a delicate pastry filled with aromatic Balinese spices and cassava leaves, bridging local culinary heritage with contemporary techniques.
Complementing the menu is a curated beverage programme featuring the Padma Resort Legian’s signature homemade tea blends, including Chrysanberry, Pale Ruby, and Purple Velvet. Guests may also opt for Indonesian-inspired refreshments such as Loloh Don Kayu Manis Refresher, Es Bir Singaraja, Telang Spritz, and Coconut & Pandan Cooler, alongside contemporary cocktails including Honey Lime Fizz and Cocopandan Marteani.

More than a seasonal indulgence, the Bali Heritage Afternoon Tea reflects Padma Resort Legian’s continuing commitment to sharing the island’s stories through meaningful culinary experiences, inviting guests to discover Bali one carefully crafted bite at a time.
