COMO Uma Canggu Brings Floating Pilates and Yoga to the Coast with Aqua Sculpt

COMO Uma Canggu is adding a new movement option to its coastal routine with Float, Flow, Restore, a wellness collaboration with Australian concept Aqua Sculpt, launching 1 June 2026. Set in the COMO Beach Club pool overlooking the Indian Ocean, the programme introduces floating Pilates and yoga sessions that use water as both setting and training tool.

The format is simple: participants practise on floating boards, where the surface is never entirely still. That slight instability encourages balance, steady breathing, and deeper core engagement, while the pool environment keeps the pace low-impact. The aim is to build strength and coordination without adding strain, with sessions suited to beginners and regular practitioners looking for a different kind of challenge.

Two class styles are offered. Floating Yoga focuses on breath-led movement, stillness, and gentle mobility, using slow transitions that reward control rather than speed. Floating Pilates shifts towards dynamic balance work, with sequences designed to support posture, stability, and coordination. Classes are guided by trained instructors, with the resort positioning the programme as part of its wider COMO Shambhala approach to movement and recovery.

Group sessions run on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday (7am to 8am) at COMO Beach Club, limited to small numbers to keep instruction hands-on. Meanwhile, private sessions are available on Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday (7am to 8am), including options for couples and small groups. A separate private group class is also offered for guests staying in the COMO Penthouse.

Positioned beside Echo Beach’s surf break, Float, Flow, Restore leans into what Canggu does best: early mornings, ocean air, and movement that feels grounded in place. For guests who want to start the day with focus rather than intensity, the pool becomes a calm training ground – one that makes balance, posture, and attention part of the workout.
