Seminyak’s brunch scene receives a spirited refresh this March as Starfish Bloo at W Bali – Seminyak presents a special edition of its iconic Sunday Brunch. Taking place on 15 March 2026, the seaside gathering brings together two distinctive collaborations – Jakarta’s contemporary Asian restaurant Silk Bistro and Bali’s acclaimed cocktail bar The Shady Pig – for an afternoon of bold flavours, inventive drinks, and vibrant energy by the ocean.

Helmed by chef-owner Freddie Salim, Silk Bistro arrives in Bali with a menu that channels comforting Asian flavours through a contemporary lens. Expect dishes designed to match the lively rhythm of brunch, from the aromatic Red Curry Duck, where tender roasted duck meets silken coconut curry and Thai basil, to Barramundi Nyonya Style, brightened with tamarind and the floral complexity of kecombrang. The menu concludes on a nostalgic note with The Bittersweet, a dessert inspired by the rich intensity of traditional Kopi Tubruk from Lampung.

At the bar, The Shady Pig’s co-owner Jonathan Jeannenot brings the venue’s signature cocktail craftsmanship to Starfish Bloo’s oceanfront setting. Guests can sip on the Bloody Pristine, a clarified interpretation of the classic Bloody Mary with vodka sous-vide sun-dried tomatoes and Palomino Fino sherry, or the refreshing Gin A Tomic, combining pomelo gin, citrus, and grapefruit soda. Other highlights include the fragrant Verbena Highball and Flavor of Bali, a tropical blend of makrut leaf-infused vodka, passion fruit, coco-pandan, and coconut cream.

Running from 12pm to 3.30pm, this one-day-only brunch promises more than just a meal – it’s a lively meeting point of culinary creativity and cocktail culture, framed by the relaxed glamour of Seminyak’s beachfront. For Bali’s brunch devotees, it’s a rare chance to experience two standout collaborations in one sun-drenched afternoon.
