Henshin Celebrates 8th Anniversary with Rooftop Festivities

Henshin marked its 8th anniversary with a lively rooftop celebration and a special showcase of its signature Nikkei cuisine on 26 July. Sitting atop the city’s tallest hotel, The Westin Jakarta, the three-level venue once again proved why it remains one of Jakarta’s most distinctive destinations for both dining and nightlife.

The event drew a stylish crowd to the 67th-floor rooftop bar, where guest DJs Damian Saint from W Bali and Victor Trixter from W Kuala Lumpur delivered energetic sets alongside Henshin’s own DJ Tonehead. The atmosphere was electric, further animated by captivating dance performances and a two-hour free-flow session of curated cocktails and canapés.

Inside the dining area, Henshin celebrates 8th anniversary where guests were treated to a special edition of the Puno Set Menu, showcasing refined Nikkei favourites. Highlights included the Tartar de Atun, a nigiri trio, Australian Black Angus Beef Tenderloin, and two signature desserts: Carro de Chocolate and Suspiro de Maracuyá. The culinary offering served as a reminder of why Henshin has earned a spot on Asia’s Top 80 Fine Dining & Bar lists in both 2023 and 2024.

True to its name—‘Henshin’ meaning transformation in Japanese—the venue continues to evolve, blending Japanese and Peruvian influences with Jakarta’s cosmopolitan energy. Its 8th anniversary celebration underscored that ethos, combining elevated flavours, panoramic city views, and immersive entertainment.

As the night climaxes with fireworks, Henshin celebrates 8th anniversary by reaffirming its status as more than just a high-rise hotspot—it’s a dining destination that keeps raising the bar, year after year.
