Regent Phu Quoc’s signature scenographic pop-up dining experience, Taste Studio, returns this November with A Spectrum of Contrasts. The immersive event merges gastronomy, art, dance, and music into a choreographed sensory journey inspired by Vietnamese culture and the harmony of dualities.
Exploring light and dark, mountain and sea, day and night, A Spectrum of Contrasts celebrates balance where opposites coexist. Through performances and culinary storytelling, guests embark on an evocative journey that reflects the spirit of Phu Quoc and the Vietnamese concept of yin and yang. Each course is paired with visual and performing arts to heighten emotion and connection.
Throughout the evening, chefs and artists collaborate to reimagine spaces and spark contemplation. Each act unfolds like a living symphony, blending flavours, textures, and sensations. The event’s creative direction transforms the dining table into a canvas of artistry, where culinary mastery and aesthetic expression merge seamlessly.
Seating only 32 guests, Taste Studio offers an intimate experience over three nights — 28, 29, and 30 November from 6:00 p.m. — beginning with a welcome cocktail, followed by an immersive dining experience featuring a five-course menu, and concluding with a finale where guests meet the creators behind the spectacle.

AC3 Studio – Visual Artists
Founded in Paris, AC3 Studio is a multi-disciplinary creative technology atelier renowned for producing bespoke visual experiences for luxury brands. Using scenography, projection mapping, motion design, and kinetic lighting, AC3 transforms concepts into emotive sensory worlds. Their participation brings refined spatial storytelling and poetic visuals to Taste Studio.
Sabra Johnson – Choreographer
Sabra Johnson, winner of So You Think You Can Dance Season 3, was based in Vietnam for nearly a decade and has become a key figure in the local contemporary dance scene. Her choreography for Taste Studio celebrates movement as a universal language, blending drama, humour, and emotion drawn from jazz and vaudeville.
Vietnam Trúc Chỉ Art – Paper Artists
Developed by artist Phan Hải Bằng and Ngô Đình Bảo Vi, Trúc Chỉ transforms handmade paper into independent artworks through a unique process called “trucchigraphy.” Using natural fibres such as bamboo and banana, the art form celebrates contrasts of light and shadow — perfectly echoing the event’s theme of duality.
Limebócx – Music Trio
From Hanoi, Limebócx fuses traditional Vietnamese sounds such as the đàn tranh with electronic beats and vocal loops, creating a bridge between heritage and futurism. Their performance evokes both nostalgia and innovation, giving voice to the soul of northern Vietnam while embracing global contemporary soundscapes.
Chef Francesco Andreoni and Regent Phu Quoc Culinary Team
Hailing from Milan, Executive Chef Francesco Andreoni brings two decades of international experience from Michelin-starred restaurants across Europe and Australia. Together with Chef Huan Tran (Vietnamese regional cuisine), Chef Duyen Nguyen (French pastry artistry), and Chef Andy Huynh (modern Japanese-French fusion), they curate a menu that reflects the theme of duality through balanced flavours, colours, and emotions.
