BUZO by Will Meyrick and Chef Armen of Terra Verte Unite for a One-Night Collaboration

On 30 October 2025, BUZO by Will Meyrick in Seminyak will host an intimate culinary collaboration with Chef Armen of Terra Verte that celebrates instinctive cooking and the dialogue between cultures. The evening brings together flavours from Terra Verte – the soon-to-open restaurant at Equipoise Ubud, and BUZO, known for redefining Itameshi – a fusion of Japanese precision and Italian soul.

In this one-night-only experience, guests will witness two creative forces finding harmony through contrast: BUZO’s bold, contemporary Italian-Japanese sensibilities meet Terra Verte’s expressive Italian-Mediterranean flair. Rather than blending cuisines, the chefs orchestrate a conversation – one that unfolds through textures, flavours, and instinct.

Chef Armen, whose culinary philosophy centres on intuition and imperfection, brings to the table a menu guided by smoke, instinct, and attitude. His dishes are unafraid to be raw in expression yet refined in execution – food that speaks from the heart, not from ornament.

For the collaboration, Terra Verte presents nine original creations, including three standout highlights that embody Chef Armen’s signature rhythm. The Chicken Skewer, marinated in yogurt, lime, and sumac, finds balance in spiced herb yogurt and cashew dukkah. The Carbonara Revisitata reimagines the Roman classic with handmade pasta, fennel sausage, and silky pecorino fonduta. And the Spicy Lamb Pizza – built on a sourdough base and layered with lamb cooked in tomato and vodka sauce – is an unapologetically bold take on comfort and heat.
