Boasting the sustainable tourism programme, The Apurva Kempinski Bali has established partnerships with one of the world’s leading vehicle brands, Nissan, Bank Central Asia (BCA), and Danone Indonesia. The partnerships derived from their same visions of providing environmentally friendly options to their patrons. In addition to Nissan LEAF provision, the resort equips itself with a solar panel EV charging station, an essential pairing for the EV experience.

“We have a big vision in terms of sustainability, and in order for us to achieve our goals, it is important for us to find and work together with those who share our vision,” stated General Manager Vincent Guironnet.

A Sustainable Pursuit

The effort from The Apurva Kempinski Bali does not stop with the EV experience and the solar panel charging station. They also offer more programmes and guest experiences with sustainability at the core of its services. For example, the resort caters to a matrimonial ceremony with a sustainable package. They also make the best of their rooftop space to grow assorted greens to supply the kitchen, producing fresh nourishments for the guest.

Collaboration for the Better

Collaborations
The EV and Charging Hub services are provided through a collaboration with Nissan, BCA, and Danone Indonesia

With their strong commitment to supporting the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), especially by reducing carbon emissions in tourism, it is natural for the resort to collaborate with esteemed corporations that also commit to pursuing sustainable movement and clean energy. For one, Nissan is recognised for its prowess in developing electric vehicle technology that benefits the environment in the long term.

Likewise, BCA has been operating its sustainable initiative through a waste management and recycling programme that involves local communities. While Danone Indonesia has been focusing on nature conservation, preservation, and community empowerment.

With the electric vehicle and charging station services offered at The Apurva Kempinski Bali, the resort earned its title as the only resort in Bali to have the facility. Guests can take the Nissan LEAF for a ride in Nusa Dua and other nearby destinations.
