Diwali at The St. Regis Jakarta: A Week of Indian Flavours

From 18 to 22 October 2025, The St. Regis Jakarta marks Diwali with a programme of Indian dining at Bel Étage, presented in collaboration with The Ritz-Carlton, Pune. Across two weekend brunches and three weekday dinners, the kitchen highlights dishes and sweets associated with the festival, bringing a taste of India’s regional breadth to the capital.

The all-day restaurant welcomes Executive Sous Chef Gagan Sahu and Chef de Partie Prithvi Rana to lead the line-up, focusing on live stations and a steady flow of freshly prepared plates. A tandoor grill anchors the service with kebabs and breads, joined by counters that rotate through North and West Indian favourites, coastal curries, and vegetarian selections. Rice dishes, dal, and chutneys round out the spread, giving diners the chance to mix and match according to spice level and mood.

Sweets play a central role during Diwali at The St. Regis Jakarta, as is tradition during the Festival of Lights. Expect an array of mithai and desserts alongside seasonal fruits and kulfi, balanced by lassi, masala chai, and other classic beverages. The room takes on a celebratory tone with Diwali accents, while the service cadence encourages a relaxed pace for families and groups.
