MILKLAB, the Australian alternative milk brand, has launched the MILKLAB Bali Café Creation 2025 competition—a campaign aimed at celebrating the island’s thriving café culture while promoting plant-based creativity.
Open to cafés across Bali, the initiative invites baristas and beverage creators to submit original iced or blended drink recipes using any MILKLAB variant: almond, oat, soy, coconut, or macadamia.
Participants are required to submit a drink concept with at least 30% MILKLAB content, accompanied by a short story, a video, and presentation images. A panel of judges will assess entries based on creativity, originality, taste, presentation, and storytelling.
Beyond the recognition, the MILKLAB Bali Café Creation competition offers significant rewards: the grand prize includes Rp 10,000,000 and a one-year supply of MILKLAB products. The second and third place winners will also receive cash prizes and product support.
The competition underscores MILKLAB’s ongoing support for café professionals and its commitment to flavour-forward, plant-based innovation. With Bali’s café landscape continuing to evolve, the event serves as both a creative outlet and a platform for local talent to shine on a larger stage.
By blending storytelling with experimentation, MILKLAB’s latest campaign seeks to inspire a new wave of beverage craftsmanship—one that champions both sustainability and sensory appeal.
The prizes for top three winners of the MILKLAB Bali Café Creation 2025 competition:
- First Prize: Rp10,000,000 & one year supply of MILKLAB worth Rp12,000,000
- Second Prize: Rp7,500,000 & six month supply of MILKLAB worth Rp6,000,000
- Third Prize: Rp5,000,000 & three month supply of MILKLAB worth Rp3,000,000
Cafe Submission: 1-30 June 2025.
Voting Campaign: 15 July- 15 August 2025
The top 12 finalists will compete in a live showdown, followed by an award ceremony announcing the three winners on 27 August 2025. As a bonus, five lucky voters who support the winning cafés during the voting campaign will each receive Rp1,000,000 in cash.
