Two St. Regis come together as The St. Regis Bali Resort and The St. Regis Jakarta join forces in a unique collaboration titled Symphony of the Senses, blending the calm of coastal Bali with the energy of metropolitan Jakarta through a series of curated culinary and cocktail experiences.
Guests were welcomed by the general managers of both hotels, Oliver Kreuzer of The St. Regis Jakarta as the host and Héctor Soulé from The St. Regis Bali Resort. The feast was officially opened in a true St. Regis manner: with the sabrage ritual.
Bringing together talent from both properties, the event featured executive chef Agung Gede Ardiawan and chef Dewa Ari Wijaya from Bali, alongside executive sous chef Almatino Gabriel Ibrata, chef Ryan Febrianto and executive pastry chef Kevin Lee from Jakarta. Their combined efforts came to life during an exclusive dinner at J.J.A., where flavours from land and sea were paired in courses that reflected both local nuance and elevated technique.

Complementing the dining experience were the creations of Giri Asta from Bali and Bigus Moch Agus Setiawan from Jakarta, two mixologists who reinterpreted their home cities in cocktail form. Served at The St. Regis Bar, each drink offered a contrast of mood and profile—where island warmth met urban sophistication when two St. Regis come together.
With this collaboration, both properties demonstrated a shared philosophy rooted in the art of hosting and storytelling. The series was designed not only to delight the palate but also to highlight the distinct identities of Bali and Jakarta, using cuisine and cocktails as narrative tools.

Symphony of the Senses marked a rare and thoughtful encounter between two St. Regis destinations. By celebrating their differences while finding common ground in hospitality, the collaboration offered guests a finely tuned experience of balance, contrast, and creative exchange.
