Rumari Brunch at Raffles Bali

Starting 18 October, Rumari at Raffles Bali offers a lavish experience for discerning gourmet connoisseurs. Rumari, which means the house of the sun and the full moon, showcases the stunning sea view from its perch. Both air-conditioned indoor and outdoor terrace seating arrangement follows Accor’s ALLSAFE Cleanliness & Prevention Label.

In the same vein with the resort, the restaurant pays homage to the terroir, from the wealth of Indonesian culinary heritage and its food artisans to the abundant natural produce. Led by executive chef Gaetan Biesuz and the resort’s culinary team, Rumari Brunch offers a plethora of treats, served table side or a la carte. Pass-around canapés are offered throughout the brunch, which starts at 12pm to 4pm. From freshly baked quiche to tasty amuse bouche such as tiger prawn sambal matah, volcano rice chips, shallot and kefir lime; the small bites are a solid introduction of the feast to come.

Start with a selection of chef’s signature dishes: Raffles Benedict with Bedugul asparagus, Parma ham and Chardonnay béarnaise; Heritage Pig belly, sweet corn, shallot pickle and kefir lime jus; and Surf & Turf, a delectable dish made of grilled Wagyu beef sirloin, lobster tortellini and pesmol sauce. Save some space for the house-made pasta (squid ink pasta, Jimbaran lobster, baby octopus, chilli, tomato and kemangi is a must) and authentic take on beloved Indonesian fare such as Soto Ayam, Gado Gado, Sate Lilit, and Tipat Blayag.

A curated selection of imported and local artisan cheese is not to be missed. From Emmental de Savoy to Taleggio, enjoy your fine cuts with fig chutney, papaya compote, nuts, grissini, nuts and dried fruit bread. When it comes to sweet delights, the five-course degustation dessert menu is a definite highlight. For lighter options, order scoops of mango curry leave sorbet and stingless honey ice cream. But, as there is always room for dessert, give the mini selection of choux pastries, tartlets and cakes a try.
