Due to the pandemic, buffet dining is almost a thing of the past. But in its place, we can happily embrace the art of a la carte buffet feast where dishes are fired up only when you order. Add these four restaurants to your weekdays or weekend treat and share the love of good food with your nearest and dearest.

Look forward to experiencing an afternoon of gastronomic indulgences at The St. Regis Singapore. The coveted bottomless Champagne brunch feast is back with a tantalising line-up of French cuisine and the house Champagne Barons de Rothschild series. Available every Sunday from 12pm to 2.30pm, satiate your appetite with a fine selection of entrée, seafood delights, chef’s specials and decadent desserts. Crack your way through Alaskan King Crab and French Oysters before enjoying a big bite of Bayonne Ham and Rock Melon. The tribute for French flavours can be tasted in dishes such as Lobster Bisque Espuma with Crab Meat and Salted Egg, Black Truffle Macaroni Gratin and mains like Pan-seared Toothfish with Chorizo and Bell Pepper Piperade. Save some room for the signature Crêpes Suzette and a dessert trolley for a sweet ending. Vegetarian options are available.

The St. Regis Sunday Champagne Brunch with Bottomless Champagne Experience starts at $198/person, served with Champagne Barons de Rothschild Brut NV.

PARKROYAL COLLECTION Pickering’s Lime Restaurant unveils a feast of culinary delights during November. Titled The Best of Lime. Enjoy a myriad of local and international a la carte extravaganza. Embark on a culinary trip with Japanese-inspired Salted Egg Lava Tempura Seafood Hand Roll to Hong Kong’s Cantonese delights and Australian Lamb Chop. From Fridays to Sundays, pay homage to Singapore’s hawker culture institution, Hong Lim Food Centre. The special collaboration features famous dishes from the beloved Chinatown hawker centre, from Tai Wah Pork Noodles to Heng Kee Curry Chicken Bee Hoon Mee.

The a la carte buffet dinner is available from 6.30pm to 10pm from Sunday to Thursday ($68/adult). The Hawker Delights dinner is priced at $78/adult and Super Sunday Lunch is priced at $88/adult. Alcoholic beverage packages are available.

Starting from 12 November, Carousel at Royal Plaza on Scotts serves a la carte dinner buffet. Find extensive seafood, Mediterranean, Teppanyaki, and Asian fare on the menu – with special seafood galore during the weekends (Alaskan King Crab Legs and Lobster Inari anyone?). Order a platter of sashimi, sushi and maki before going for the Sakoshi Bay Oysters. Vacate some space for Lamb Osso Bucco with Truffle Mash, Lahore Chicken Tikka, Teppan Prawn with Garlic Shogayaki, Honey Rock Sugar-glazed Veal Ribs with Sesame Seeds, and we haven’t even mentioned the live stations, gueridon service and desserts.
