Heritage cocktails.

A new locally-inspired cocktail menu is available too. Crafted based on the journeys of Sang Nila Utama, each of the four new drinks ($16 each) aim to tell a part of the storied figure’s exploration of Singapore. Try The King of The Jungle, a ruby red cocktail showcasing indigenous herbs like kaffir lime, star anise and cinnamon. It’s inspired by the lion that Sang Nila Utama first spotted upon landing, and which prompted him to name the island we stand on Singapura. Or go for Crown Into The Sea, a light cocktail made up of rum, apricot brandy, peach schnapps and ginger beer served with slices of lime. It’s derived from the story about the great storm which led to the Prince throwing his crown overboard as a gift to the sea to calm the raging waters, thus allowing him to reach Temasek safely.
