These three elegantly refurbished club lounges in Tokyo invite guests to unwind over light meals and cocktails, all while taking in sweeping views of the city.
The Westin Tokyo’s revamped interior fuses elements inspired by the historical and natural landscape of Ebisu, while maintaining its hallmark Western elegance.
Perched on the 22nd floor of the hotel is The Westin Club which offers exclusive access to Executive Room and Suite guests. Here, panoramic views of the quiet upscale area in central Tokyo unfold; you can also see iconic landmarks like Tokyo Tower in the distance.
In line with the hotel’s renovated interiors, the club floor now has a natural colour palette inspired by the lushness of Ebisu, particularly the Nature Education Garden below. Like a greenhouse in the sky, this space provides a relaxing experience, allowing guests to feel connected to nature even in a bustling metropolis. A calm workspace and lounge with plush sofas provide versatile options for both productivity and leisure. Complimentary concierge services further elevate the exclusive experience.
The dining area doubles as a social hub for informal gatherings, centred around the communal table. Adjacent to this space is a dedicated buffet area. Guests can indulge in chef-crafted dishes, snacks and a wide selection of beverages served throughout the day.
Start your morning with eggs benedict, freshly baked croissants, dim sum and more. Afternoon tea sees seasonal desserts and sweet treats being rolled out. During evening cocktails, you can enjoy a variety of alcoholic drinks such as beer and wine with hors d’oeuvres.
After your nightcap, enjoy a restorative night’s sleep on the signature Heavenly® Bed. The guestrooms’ redesign also showcases a fusion of authentic European elements and the local natural environment. Guests get to relax in the serene space while enjoying the dazzling view of Tokyo through large framed windows.

The Club Lounge on the 19th floor of Palace Hotel Tokyo was recently refreshed with a lighter colour palate, creating a brighter, warmer ambience. Terry McGinnity, executive design director of G.A Group (a design studio specialising in luxury hospitality) led both the original design and the recent update. His goal was to soften the perceived formality of the previous scheme by introducing lighter furnishings, including new chairs and timber tabletops, to evoke a more casually elegant atmosphere.
Palace Hotel Tokyo shares a rockbound moat with the Imperial Palace Gardens, and the lounge’s new reception desk now features raw stone – a subtle nod to the hotel’s historic surroundings. The carpet motif also reflects the property’s location, reinforcing the overall design narrative of the hotel.
Suite and club guests can now enjoy a ‘light snacks’ service between breakfast and afternoon tea, as well as a nightcap service available after the conclusion of evening cocktails and canapés, and before the lounge closes. A selection of vegan ice creams (in coconut, almond, and soy flavours) has also been introduced.
During warmer weather, enjoy the outdoor terrace where you can take in unique vistas of Marunouchi district, the surrounding Imperial Palace gardens and moats.
