Situated on a prime spot along the Marina Bay, The Pelican refocuses on time-honoured oceanic fare.

Rockefeller Oysters from The Pelican

Refinery Concepts’ seafood and steakhouse joint pays tribute to seafarers of yore, and the celebratory atmosphere of their homecoming after long voyages. As an ode to tradition, executive chef Isaac Tan has created a new menu full of quintessential seafood dishes fit for sailors. Start with a classic appetiser of Rockefeller Oysters ($10/piece) and savour the best of the ocean with the Catch of the Day (market price); the locally sourced catch is cooked depending on the type of seafood for the day. For instance, their trout is baked with lemons and topped with deep-fried capers.

The Pelican’s new Lobster Mac and Cheese

From now till the end of April, diners can look forward to a luxurious experience with their Lobster Fiesta promotion ($128). Diners can choose between two of three lobster dishes, including The Pelican’s signature Lobster Burger, stuffed with prime lobster tail and topped with candied bacon. Alternatively, pick between the Spicy Lobster Pasta or the new Lobster Mac and Cheese. The latter tops a sizzling hotplate of moreish macaroni with a true oceanic gem: a whole garlic butter-poached lobster.
