Michelin Guide Singapore 2025: Highlights and New Dining Experiences

On 24 July 2025, the Michelin Guide Singapore 2025 unveiled 36 restaurants, including one elevated to two Michelin stars and one awarded its first star. Find out what’s new at some of these top-notch restaurants.

Debutting with one Michelin star is Omakase @ Stevens, helmed by chef Kazuki Arimoto, who also received the the 2025 Michelin Guide Young Chef Award. This year, Sushi Sakuta  (run by chef-owner Yoshio Sakuta) at The Capitol Kempinski Hotel has been promoted to two Michelin stars. Six other restaurants have maintained the two Michelin stars distinction: Cloudstreet, Saint Pierre, Shoukouwa, Meta, Thevar and Jaan by Kirk Westaway. Odette, Les Amis and Zén have once again received three Michelin stars this time.

Some of Singapore’s Michelin-starred restaurants will be rolling out new dining experiences. Here are the updates to look forward to:

Odette is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year and undergoing a complete refurbishment from September to November 2025. The restaurant will re-open in December just in time for the festive season. During this temporary closure, Odette’s team led by chef-owner Julien Royer will be heading to Copenhagen for a culinary residency at the city’s Tivoli Gardens.

Jaan by Kirk Westaway at Swissôtel The Stamford is also celebrating its 10th anniversary this year. The 2025 Michelin Guide Sommelier Award was presented to Bella Jankaew who secured second place in Thailand’s Best Sommelier Competition, prior to joining the two-Michelin-starred restaurant. Meanwhile, Chef Kirk Westaway has just opened The Crown by Kirk Westaway in Jakarta at the 22nd floor of Fairmont Jakarta this July. This follows the launch of The Albion by Kirk Westaway in Ho Chih Minh City’s Hôtel des Arts Saigon – MGallery Collection late last year.

Chef-owner Manogren Thevar (Chef Mano) recently relocated his two-Michelin-starred restaurant to 16 Mohamed Sultan Road. Thevar 2.0 incorporates elements from Chola architecture and traditional Indian home aesthetics, with 28 seats at the main dining hall, a three-seater Chef’s Table and a private room on the 2nd level.

Australian Chef-patron Michael Wilson of one-Michelin-starred Marguerite made his guest chef debut on Series 17 of MasterChef Australia in June. During the culinary competition, Michael delivered the ultimate pressure test, challenging three contestants to recreate one of Marguerite’s most intricate desserts: the Marguerite Opera (in exchange for immunity from elimination). Now, for a limited time only, guests in Singapore can enjoy the iconic Marguerite Opera dessert which is part of Marguerite’s seven-course tasting menu.

For one night only on 1 August, Waku Ghin at Marina Bay Sands will host a special four-hands collaboration between Chef Tetsuya Wakuda and Chef Sun Kim of two-Michelin-starred Meta. Chef Sun and Chef Tetsuya have created an elegant menu that reflects their shared devotion to seasonality, precision, and place.
