The Masses
The Masses at The Arcade @ The Capitol Kempinski recently launched a new Farm-Style Communal Sunday Brunch, giving you the perfect excuse to bring the family out. Available Sundays from 11am to 5pm, the curated 10-dish menu ($68.80 per person, minimum of two diners) begins with artisanal breads, house-made dips, salads, cold cuts, and caviar-topped appetisers.
Start with slivers of hay-smoked hamachi, dressed with grapefruit, orange, soy sauce, extra virgin olive oil, and topped with Avruga caviar.
This is followed by hearty mains like the overnight-brined Crispy Chicken Leg with sauce supreme made with chicken jus, mustard, pepper, Champagne, Xeres vinegar and cream. The chicken is pan-roasted until golden and accompanied with sauteed shitake and pancetta. You will also get to tuck into delicate Seabass à la Meunière with beurre noisette, citrus, and herbs.
Round off the meal with a sweet finale of French strawberry tart with rhubarb jam and Chantilly cream. For added indulgence, enjoy freshly shucked Irish and French oysters (additional $30 for min 6 pieces). Check out oyster cart just at the entrance. Or add $48 per dinner for free-flow Prosecco for 2 hours.
