· 16 January 2024
Padma Culinary Journey presents chef Sandro Medrano's Peruvian-Japanese Nikkei flair to Padma Hotels' properties in Semarang, Karawang, Bandung, and Ubud.
After last year’s tremendous success, Padma Culinary Journey returns to kick off the culinary programme at Padma Hotels at the beginning of 2024 with vibrant taste and special offerings. Aiming to extend the ranging delicacy of each property, find culinary exchange events in Bali, Bandung, Semarang, and Karawang that highlight each property’s speciality.
The series of events starts with chef Sandro Medrano from Padma Resort Legian’s TENKAI Japanese Nikkei Restaurant bringing his culinary expertise in a distinctive Peruvian-Japanese Nikkei concept to Padma Hotels in Semarang, Karawang, and Bandung. Renowned for its unique gastronomic delights, the award-winning TENKAI Japanese Nikkei Restaurant has been one of the most sought-after dining attractions in Bali. This time, chef Sandro Medrano extends the chance to savour the restaurant’s dishes for those outside Bali.
The chef’s masterful experience in marrying Peruvian dishes with Japanese technique adds authenticity of both regions, resulting in full-bodied cuisines that foodies don’t want to miss. The culinary adventure began at Semawis All-Day Dining, Padma Hotel Semarang, on 13 January under the theme of BBQ Dinner feat. Chef Sandro.
The second stop will occur on 17 January at Resinda Hotel Karawang’s Inaho Japanese Restaurant, where chef Sandro Medrano will present his creations at the Tapas Nikkei dinner. Come to the restaurant between 6pm – 9pm and book a table with a price of Rp348,000/person by contacting firstname.lastname@example.org.
The next stop is The Restaurant at Padma Hotel Bandung through International Buffet Dinner feat. Chef Sandro on 20 January, 6.30pm – 9.30pm. Make a reservation through email@example.com at Rp388,000/person.
Some of the showstoppers at Padma Culinary Journey are Tiradito Sake, a Nikkei dish with tiger’s milk-marinated salmon spices, Anticuchos, the Peruvian’s favourite skewers, and Acevichado, a special maki sushi with shrimp tempura, sliced tuna, and signature Acevichado sauce.
