Classy pub grub and delightful rice dishes are just some of two restaurants' latest creations to charm diners.

, On the me-newMorton’s The Steakhouse

When they say ‘mini’ at Morton’s—the institution famed for its supersized steaks—you can take that with a pinch of salt. The Mini Crab Cake BLTs ($33), one of the new entries in the restaurant’s Bar Bites menu, are, literally, a handful to deal with. The plump burgers are simply scrumptious comfort food. Do try the light-hearted Smoked Salmon Pizza ($32), too, and pair it with one of the bar’s martinis.

, On the me-newIppudo SG
Following his second outlet at UE Square, Ramen King, Shigemi Kawahara has introduced 14 dishes for his flagship restaurant. Exclusive to this outlet is Kawahara’s take of his favourite local dish, Hokkien Mee ($8), using his famous tonkotsu (pork bone) stock to stir-fry two different types of ramen with pork slices, shrimps and bean sprouts. Rice dishes also make an appearance on the menu like the Mentai Rice topped with spicy cod roe ($4) or Ippudo’s version of the nostalgic rice ball stuffed with minced chicken and mushrooms ($4).
